Ann Nelson
Ann P. Nelson, 92, Scott City, died Jan. 16, 2012, at the Scott County Hospital, Scott City.
She was born Jan. 28, 1919, at Logan, the daughter of John and Martha (Vielguth) Wallgren.
A resident of Scott City since the 1930s, she was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Rebekah Lodge, both of Scott City.
On Dec. 8, 1944, she married Bernarr Nelson at Scott City. He died Sept. 23, 1998, at Scott City.
Survivors include: one daughter, Barb Wilkinson, and husband, Jeff, Scott City; one sister, Mildred Hance, Hays; two grandsons and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and two brothers.
Funeral service will be held Fri., Jan. 20, 2:00 p.m., at the First Baptist Church, Scott City, with Pastor Kyle Evans officiating. Burial will be in the Scott County Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at Price and Sons Funeral Home.
