Donald L. Oberheim

Donald L. Oberheim, 75, died Dec. 22, 2009, at Hays Medical Center,  Hays.

He was born June 19, 1934, at McCook, Nebr., the son of John Franklin and Edith Floy (Fran-

zman) Oberheim.

A resident of Leoti since 1938, he graduated from Wichita County High School, Leoti, in 1952.

He was a long-time farmer and had been the county weed director. 

He was a member of the Parks Presbyterian Church, rural Wichita County.  

On March 18, 1956, he married Margaret Elaine Oberheim at Leoti. She died May 7, 2002, at Garden City.

Survivors include: two daughters, Tawna Miller, Garden City, and Sheri Loy, and husband, Bruce, Leoti, and two grandchildren.

Funeral service was held Dec. 28 at the First Presbyterian Church, Leoti, with Rev. Paul McNall officiating. Burial was in the Leoti Cemetery.
