Jennifer May Emahizer

Jennifer May Emahizer, 8, died Feb. 28, 2010, at her home in Scott City.

She was born Oct. 29, 2001, at Garden City, the daughter of Aaron and Kristina (Emahizer) Fry and the adopted daughter of Jerry and Shellie (Sanders) Emahizer.

A lifetime resident of Scott City, she was a student.

Survivors include: her adopted parents, Jerry and Shellie Emahizer, Scott City; birth parents, Aaron and Kristina Fry, Ellis; three sisters, Kim Emahizer,  Hays, and Breanna and Jami Emahizer, both of Scott City; two brothers, Evan and Hunter Fry, both of Ellis; grandparents, Willard and Linda Sanders, Scott City, Tom Fry, Wichita, and Janice Fry, Dighton.

She was preceded in death her grandmother, Linda (Rokusek) Sanders; great-grandmother, Vio-let Sanders; and uncle, Tim Sanders.

Funeral service was held March 3 at Price and Sons Funeral Home, Scott City, with Rev. Kyle Evans officiating.

Burial was in the Scott County Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation or March of Dimes in care of the funeral home, 401 S. Washington, Scott City, Ks. 67871.
