Juanita Caldwell

Juanita Caldwell, 89, died July 3, 2010, at Hays Medical Center, Hays.
She was born March 29, 1921, at Healy, the daughter of Shirley Mulford and Della (Swilley) Cramer.
A resident of Scott City since 1945, moving from Healy, she was a secretary at Scott City Middle School and a clerk at the District Court, both of Scott City.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Scott City.
On Jan. 29, 1943, she married William R. Caldwell at Dighton. He died  Aug. 16, 1983, at Garden City.
Survivors include: one son, Larry, Emporia; one daughter, Carol Sims,  Tualatin, Ore.; two brothers, Leo and George Cramer, both of Healy; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers.
Funeral service was held July 8 at the First United Methodist Church, Scott City, with Rev. Dennis Carter officiating. Burial was at the Scott County Cemetery.
