Mary Mallegg

Mary Mallegg, 67, Scott City, died Dec. 20, 2011, at the Hays Medical Center, Hays.

She was born May 1, 1944, at Cumberland, Ill., the daughter of Otto Oswald and Ruby Norma (Bigelow) Mallegg.  

A resident of Scott City since 1969, moving from Hutchinson, she was a bookkeeper.  

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Scott City.

Survivors include: one brother, Dave, and wife, Betsy, Laguna Beach, Calif.; one nephew, Mike, and wife, Kristin, Grosse Point, Mich.; and one niece, Julie Band and husband, Ted, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial service will be held Sat., Jan. 14, 10:30 a.m., at Price and Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington,  Scott City, Ks. 67871, with Fr. Bernard Felix officiating. Inurnment will be at the Sterling Cemetery, Sterling.
