Wilma R. Finkenbinder

Wilma R. Finkenbinder, 90, died Jan. 22, 2010, at the Scott County Hospital, Scott City. 

She was born March 18, 1919, at Cherokee, the daughter of Henry Clarence and Edith Pearl (Vance) Misner.  

A resident of Scott City since 1946, moving from Lane County, she was the owner and operator of Twilight Trailer Park, Scott City.

She was a member of the First Christian Church and Christian Women’s Fellowship, both of Scott City.

On July 6, 1937, she married Delmar Eugene Finkenbinder at Garden City. He died Oct. 23, 1964, at Scott City.

Survivors include: one daughter, Vicki Cheryl Wright, and husband, Marvin, Scott City; three sons, Rex, and wife, Joni, Hutchinson, Larry Gene, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Mike and wife, Diane, Scott City; one sister, Verna Flower, Rodgers, Ark.; 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Earl Misner and Dwight Misner; and one sister, Edith Sager.

Funeral service was held Jan. 25 at the First Christian Church, Scott City, with Rev. Jeff Knighton officiating. Burial was in the Scott County Cemetery.
