Marvin and Judy Blundell, Hay Springs, Nebr., and Patti Blundell, Chadron, Nebr., announce the engagement of their daughter, Joy, to Clay Weaver, son of Cindy and Casey Weaver, Wall, S.D.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Hay Springs High School, and Chadron State College, Chadron, Nebr. She is a former employee of The Scott County Record, Scott City, and now resides in Rapid City, S.D., where she is attending nursing school.
The prospective groom is a graduate of Wall High School, Wall, S.D., and Mitchell Technical Institute, Mitchell, S.D. He currently is employed as a telephone technician at Golden West Technologies, Rapid City.
The couple is planning a July 7 wedding at the Elks Lodge, Rapid City.
