Dwight F. Krebs

Dwight F. Krebs, 56, died Feb. 5, 2010, at his home in Logan County.

He was born on Feb. 26, 1953, at Scott City, the son of Floyd Milton and Georgia Corinne (Whitham) Krebs.  

A lifetime resident of Scott and Logan counties, he was a cattleman and a rancher.

He is a member of the Gateway Fellowship Church, Oakley, Kansas Cattlemen’s Assn., R-CALF, AOPA, and also a lifetime member of both AQHA and FQHR.

Survivors include: one daughter, Christianne Barnett, and husband, Christopher, Colby; former wife, Cheri Krebs, Scott City; mother, Scott City; two sisters, Debra Dallas, Denver, Colo., and Dianne Unruh and husband, Owen, Scott City; and two grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Krebs.

Funeral service was held Feb. 10 at the United Methodist Church, Scott City, with Pastor Richard VanWinke and Rev. Dennis Carter officiating. Burial was in the Scott County Cemetery.
