Lowell Everett Mulch, 78, died July 19, 2010, at Garden Valley Retirement Village, Garden City.
He was born May 31, 1932, at Scott City, the son of Everett and Geneva (Muzzell) Mulch.
He earned a master’s degree in education from Pittsburg State College.
A longtime Garden City and area resident, he was a teacher at Allen County Community College, retiring in the early 1980s.
He was a member of the Episcopal faith.
On Dec. 30, 1951, he married Ruby Kemper at Raton, N.M. She survives.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Cindy Deckinger, Coffeyville, and one grandson, Todd Deckinger, Long Beach, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Brian Mulch.
Graveside service was held July 22 at the Valley View Cemetery, Garden City, with Rev. David Bell presiding.
