Viva Anna Brown

Viva Anna Brown, 93, died Aug. 6, 2010, at Colorado Springs, Colo.
She was born Sept. 20, 1916, at Sedgwick, the daughter of George and Charlotte Mulch.
On Nov. 21, 1937, she married Winston Brown. He is deceased.
In 1946, she moved to Downs and remained there until 1959 when she moved to Topeka.
She was a bookkeeper at the Shanwee County Co-op, was active in church and belonged to several bridge clubs. She moved to Colorado Springs in 1991.
Survivors include: two sons, Ron, and wife, Rosanne, Black Forest, Colo., and Dwane and wife, Kathie, Carrollton, Tex.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Everett, Vernon, Eugene and Leo, and two sisters, Erma and Charlotte.
A memorial service was held Aug. 10 at Alterra Wynwood Assisted Living, Colorado Springs.
Another memorial service will be held Sat., Aug. 14, 2:00 p.m., at the First Baptist Church, Scott City. Burial will be at the Scott County Cemetery.
