Mr. and Mrs. Alan Dearden, Scott City, announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather, to Dustin Olsen, son of Tracy Olsen, Kearney, Nebr., and Alisa Olsen, Hays.
The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Scott Community High School and a 2009 graduate of Ft. Hays State University, earning a degree in general studies with an emphasis in education.
She is currently employed at National Electronic Warranty, Hays.
The prospective groom is a 2004 graduate of Hays High School. He is currently employed at Development Services of Northwest Kansas (DSNWK) Employment Connections.
A Sept. 11 wedding is planned at First United Methodist Church, Hays.
