Dan Ramsey, Wamego, and Sara Ramsey, Scott City, announce the engagement of their daughter, Annie, to Curtis Emberton, Scott City, son of Robert Emberton, San Antonio, Tex., and Wanda Barton, Scott City.
The bride-to-be is a 1998 graduate of Scott Community High School and a 2002 graduate of Kansas State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in family studies and human services. She will complete a Registered Nurse degree in May 2010 from Garden City Community College.
She is currently employed at the Scott County Hospital.
The prospective groom is also a 1998 graduate of SCHS and is currently employed by Western Bearing and Belt, Scott City.
The couple is planning an August 7 wedding at the First Baptist Church, Scott City.
