Wrens to celebrate 60th anniversary

Leo and Ilene Wren, Scott City, will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary with a come-and-go reception on Sat., July 10, 1:30-4:30 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church, Scott City.
Leo Wren and Ilene Sperling were married on July 15, 1950, at her mother’s home in Scott City.
Hosting the event will be the couple’s children, Everett and Gloria Wren, Scott City; Leanna and Cliff Fandrey, Williamsburg, Colo.; Rodney and Marilyn Wren, Buelah, Colo.; and Starla and Michael Jackson, London, Ky.
The long-time residents have lived in Scott City since they were married with the exception of 18 months in Alaska.
