Scott Community High School winter Homecoming activities will be held Tues., Feb. 7, when the Beavers host Ulysses High School. Crowning ceremony will take place prior to the boy’s basketball game.
Queen candidates are Brenna Beeson, daughter of Anthony and Erica Beeson; Chandra Martin, daughter of Mike and Leann Martin; and Amelia Vasko, daughter of Scott and Teresa Noll.
King candidates are Jeremy Clinton, son of Darryl and Virginia Clinton; Dalton Smith, son of L.D. Smith and Liz Smith; and Leighton Wasinger, son of Jeff and Tracy Wasinger.
Class attendants are:
Juniors: Michael McEachern and Callan Rice.
Sophomores: Warren Kropp and Kelly Wycoff.
Freshmen: Marshal Hutchins and Brooke Dillinger.
The junior attendants are Jacob Irwin, son of Shane and Gayle Irwin, and Kendal Gentry, daughter of Brian and Megan Gentry.
Crowning the king and queen will be SCHS alumni Merilee Epler and Jim Rodenbeek.
Throwback Night
As an added part of the festivities, the Student Council is sponsoring a “Throwback Night” with students and adults encouraged to wear apparel from an earlier era. This includes cheerleading outfits, sports uniforms, old letter jackets, former mascot attire, etc.
This is not limited to SCHS-related apparel.
Throwback Contest winners will be announced during halftime of the boy’s game.
