A lone gold medal in the medley relay was the only championship claimed by the Scott City Stars at the Western Kansas Swim Club combined meet held July 17-18 at Dodge City.
As expected, the competition was tough when all 12 teams in the league came together.
Members of the WKSC are Great Bend, Hays, Dodge City, Liberal, Garden City, Dumas (Tex.), Spearman (Tex.), Ulysses, Guymon (Okla.), Lakin, Leoti and Scott City.

In the 9-10-year-old division, the relay team of Kylee Trout, Rachel Fisher, Makaela Stevens and Jordan Miller were runners-up in the 200m freestyle (2:45.02) and the 200m medley (3:29.13).
