Building some momentum - and confidence - for the upcoming regional tournament, the Scott Community High School girls claimed top four finishes in four weight divisions at the rugged Rocky Welton Invitational.
Feeling that her team was looking sluggish at both ends of the floor during Tuesday’s road game against Hugoton, Lady Beaver head coach Amy Felker felt that something was needed to raise the intensity level of her squad.
Rarely does the sequel live up to the original movie and, unfortunately, the same could be said for the rematch when the SCHS boys traveled to Hugoton for regular season action in the Great West Activities Conference, just four days after they clashed in the Sterling Invitational.
