A couple of years ago, when the renovated Scott Community High School football complex was celebrating its first home game, we had a conversation with an out-of-town photographer. While impressed with the improvements made, he made the observation that something similar wouldn’t happen in the town where he lived.

As if we weren’t divided enough, the latest partisan split is over whether to get the coronavirus vaccine. Republicans are less likely to get their shots. Why am I not surprised?
We can’t imagine what it must be like as a young person trying to figure out who they are - to know that how everyone else views you from the outside is not how you see yourself.
