Five new teachers have joined the USD 466 (Scott County) staff for the 2026-27 school year.
Cally Cramer is the recipient of a $1,500 scholarship awarded by the Lane-Scott Electric Cooperative.
Similar to the more common livestock projects found within Western Kansas 4-H programs, the dairy project involves caring for and raising animals for breeding and production purposes, whether dairy cattle or dairy goats.
Ten students from Scott and Wichita counties were among more than 3,000 students who completed degree requirements from Kansas State University during the spring semester.
