Foolish tax cuts and equally foolish political priorities during the Sam Brownback administration plunged this state into an economic nightmare. And all the blame doesn’t fall upon the former Kansas governor. Republican lawmakers who never saw a tax they didn’t like were more than eager to go along with the “real live experiment.”
