For decades, Kansas Republicans have been trying to shed their image as fiscal conservatives with reckless tax cuts that drain the state of revenue and ultimately create havoc with infrastructure projects, limit education funding and prevent any serious efforts to provide property tax relief.
Sitting at a roundtable discussion on issues affecting agriculture and our rural communities, the thoughts being tossed about sounded all-toofamiliar - a shortage of workers, the need for more housing and CDLA driving regulations that are too restrictive.
