WASHINGTON - The Trump administration announced a sweeping plan last week to restructure the Department of Health and Human Services by cutting an additional 10,000 workers and closing down half of its 10 regional offices.
Statewide rate dips 4% with kindergartners since 2019
Kansas is now up to 10 confirmed cases of measles, all of which have been children who are either unvaccinated or under-vaxxed.
For the public to be safe from the measles, about 95% of the community needs to be vaccinated against the disease, the CDC says. About 90% of Kansans are vaccinated for measles.
