MANHATTAN Homeowners who set their sights on having the nicest landscape on the block may often sense the urge to water, water, water.
With assistance from West Plains Extension District 4-H agent Lauren Litton, local 4-Hers planted cucumber, pepper, lettuce and tomato seeds in starter pots during a garden program at the Wm.
MANHATTAN - Restoring biodiversity in a home garden or any area can be done by incorporating native plants, said Kansas State University horticulture expert Cynthia Domenghini.
