Twenty-seven new members were accepted into the Wood Chapter of National Honor Society at Scott Community High School during an induction ceremony held on May 2.
Park Lane Nursing Home residents kicked off Nursing Home Week activities with a balloon lift on Monday morning.
The High Plains Study Club met May 3 at the Majestic Theater for lunch. After lunch the members met at the Bryan Center for the business meeting and dessert served by the social committee.
Scott City Elementary School youngsters have been getting in shape this spring with a daily run as part of the after-school “Go Far!” program.
