Non-profit organizations who have requested grant assistance through Scott City’s one-half percent sales tax will be making their presentations to the Sales Tax Grant Committee on Thurs., Jan. 23, 5:30 p.m., at City Hall.
Weather permitting, dirt work will begin about March 1 for construction of an eight-bay T-hanger at the Scott City Airport.
Growing demand, water issues have led to more forage production
Once again, tax collections exceeded expectations. Pendergast anticipated $900,000 in sales tax revenue when calculating the budget and collections reached $1,013,459.
