After original plans for a new Scott City water tower were considered “overkill,” the project has been delayed until new plans and cost estimates can be presented to the city council.
A dry winter and spring, combined with moisture sapping 50 and 60 mile per hour winds, have had a predictable impact on the Western Kansas wheat crop.
The Scott City Council will take action on whether to allow golf carts to operate on city streets during their upcoming meeting on Mon., June 6, starting at 7:30 p.m.
