Social distancing may be the key phrase during this time of COVID, but that didn’t hinder donors for the annual Giving Day event sponsored by the Scott Community Foundation.

The Scott City Council and Scott County Commission will be moving ahead with plans to consolidate the city and county fire departments following a joint meeting of the two governing bodies on Monday evening. The move was also supported by representatives of both departments who were in attendance.
The generosity of Scott City will take center stage on Wed., Nov. 18, for the annual Giving Day sponsored by the Scott Community Foundation.
