The annual Lake Scott Rod Run will celebrate its 44th year when antiques and classics from throughout the Midwest converge in Scott City from August 18-20.
The list of delinquent taxes has been released by the Scott County treasurer and is being published on pages 8-9 in this week’s Record.
While serving as somewhat of an arbitrator between the Scott County Fair Board and local Boy Scouts, the Scott County Commission emphasized that one thing would probably help in settling a dispute over a concession stand at the fairgrounds - better communication.
A full day of activities, starting with a morning fun run and wrapping up with musical entertainment in the evening, will be part of the second annual Healy Days on Saturday.
