Martha Jane Bollinger
Martha Jane Bollinger, 85, died August 6, 2021, at Park Lane Nursing Home, Scott City.
She was born on June 11, 1936, in LaPlata, Mo., the daughter of Bernard and Blanche (Willey) Campbell.
A lifetime resident of Scott City, she worked for Scott County Law Enforcement for four years and then retired from KN Energy after 18 years of service.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Scott City, for over 60 years, serving as deaconess, ABW treasurer, Bible Study Circle treasurer, Bible school teacher, Sunday school teacher, calling coordinator for Baptist Senior Fellowship for several years, and was also a member of the Xi Delta Kappa sorority division of Alpha Omega sorority.
On Oct. 27, 1956, she married Alan Dale Bollinger in Grigston. He died on Oct. 1, 2014, in Scott City.
Survivors include one son, Dan Bollinger and wife, Joni, Dighton; two daughters, Melinda Girod and husband, André, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Tami Thomas and husband, Coleby, Hays; four granddaughters, three grandsons, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service will be held Friday, August 13, 10:30 a.m., at the First Baptist Church, Scott City, with Rev. Kyle Evans presiding. Services will be streamed live at www.priceandsons.com. Click the live stream tab on the left side of the obituary or click on “LIVESTREAM” starting at 10:25 a.m.
Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery.
