Robert A. Rein

Robert A. Rein, 81, died Dec. 16, 2021, in Scott City.

H e was born on July 13, 1940, in Sugar City, Colo., the son of Henry Rein, Jr., and his wife, Marie (Herman).

A resident of Scott City since 1975, moving from Sugar City, he was an advertising salesman for the Hi-Plains Journal and B&B Advertising.

He was a member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Scott City.

On Sept. 11, 1964, he married Shirley J. Hasty in Roswell, N.M. She died Oct. 7, 2013, in Scott City.

Survivors include his daughters, Charlene Murphy, Paola, and Teresa Noll and husband, Scott, Scott City; a brother, Alvin Rein, Fowler, Colo.; a sister, Janice Rogers, Fowler Colo.; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Bryan Rein; brother, Ronnie Rein; and sister, Eleanor Schiro.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Inurnment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City.
