Joyce Donovan
Joyce Donovan, 83, died Dec. 27, 2021, at her home in Scott City.
She was born on Aug. 3, 1938, in Hoisington, the daughter of Joseph Henry and Arvena (Miller) Laudick.
A resident of Scott City since 1989, moving from Oakley, she was a medical lab technician.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Scott County VIP Center, both of Scott City.
On June 15, 1954, she married Carl D. Donovan in Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. He died on March 15, 1999, in Scott City.
Survivors include her son, Dallas Donovan and wife, Melanie, Abbeville, La.; daughters, Penny Rajewski and husband, Mike, Lake Charles, La., Cindy Coe and husband, Denis, Bakersfield, Calif., and Carla Schroeder and husband, Lance, Raymond, Nebr.; 15 grandchildren, 33 greatgrandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Mike Donovan; and two brothers, Walter Laudick and Leslie Laudick.
A memorial service was held Jan. 3 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Scott City, with Fr. Don Bedore presiding.
Interment was in the
Scott County Cemetery.
