Mary Lou Adams

Mary Lou Adams, 71, died Jan. 8, 2022, at the Scott County Hospital, Scott City.

S h e was born on Oct. 1, 1950, in Dodge City, the daughter of Howard and Joann (Hedges) Koehn.

A resident of Scott City since the early 1970s, she was a waitress at several different restaurants in Scott City.

On March 16, 1981, she married Jim L. Adams in Miami, Okla. He died on Aug. 2, 2016, in Scott City.

Survivors include her sister, Linda Dinning, Scott City; step-daughters, Carole Mackenzie and husband, Robert, Lawrenceburg, Ind., Brenda Tucker and husband, Harvey, Scott City, and Dana Rains and husband, Donald, Thackerville, Okla.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in the Scott County Cemetery.
