Letha Wishon
Letha K. Wishon, 89, died, Nov. 5, 2022, at Park Lane Nursing Home, Scott City.
She was born on July 28, 1933, in Tribune, the daughter of Charles Hugo and Mary Elizabeth (Swilley) Thon.
A resident of Scott City since 1996, moving from Stillwell, Okla., she was a retired medical technician and nurse aide at Park Lane Nursing Home and a home health nurse.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Scott City.
Letha enjoyed music, playing the piano, singing in the church choir, teaching Sunday school and cooking and cleaning at the church.
In 1948, she married Bobby Lloyd Wishon in Lamar, Colo. He died Aug. 1, 2015, in Dodge City.
Survivors include her three daughters, Wanda Barton and husband, Rod, Scott City, Janet Goodman and husband, Gary, Scott City, and Shelley Shockley and husband, Scott, Galena; seven sons, Steve Wishon and wife, Denise, Lawrence, Danny Wishon and wife, Barbara, Hutchinson, Terry Wishon and wife, Margaret, Benton, Ark., Ronnie Wishon, of Nebraska, Larry Wishon and wife, Kerry, Collinsville, Tex., Kent Wishon and wife, Bina, Scott City, and Michael Wishon and wife, Misty, Rapid City, S.D.; a sister, Oleta Bergquist, Tribune; 32 grandchildren, 54 greatgrandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
She is also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Laura Jean Wishon; one son, Bobby Dale Wishon; one grandson, Curtis Emberton; four sisters and three brothers.
Funeral service will be held Fri., Nov. 11, 10:00 a.m., at Price and Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Scott City, with Pastor Justin Ewell presiding.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. (MT) at the Greeley County Cemetery, Tribune.
