Carey Pyle

Carey J. “Kink” Pyle, 69, died Nov. 20, 2022, at his home in Scott City.

He was born on Aug. 27, 1953, in Garden City, the son of Edgar and Lois (Nickel) Pyle.

A resident of Scott City since 2021, moving from Hermiston, Ore., he was a truck driver.

He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.

On Nov. 15, 1994, he married Sandra L. Watt in Garden City. She died on July 19, 2020, in Hermiston, Ore.

Survivors include one son, Ben Valley, Noel, Mo.; one granddaughter, Kristen Voss, Kansas City, Mo; one sister, Terri Ford, Belton, Tex.; one brother, John Pyle, Scott City; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ralph Pyle.

There will be no visitation times.

A graveside memorial service will be held Fri., Nov. 25, 2:00 p.m., at the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City.
