Gwen M. Ramsey

Gwen M. Ramsey, 84, died March 2, 2025, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

She was born on April 10, 1940, in Scott City, the daughter of Earl Ray and Lucy Matilda (Kiefer) Perry.

A lifetime resident of Scott City, she was a homemaker.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Scott City.

On Jan. 27, 1979, she married Jon M. Ramsey in Corpus Christi, Tex. He survives.

Other survivors include her sons, Dave Pfenninger and wife, Susan, Garden City, and Chris Pfenninger and wife, Pati, Scott City; brothers, Lloyd Perry, Leoti, Dean Perry, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Dale Perry, Flagler, Colo.; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Carl Perry.

The funeral service was held March 14 at the First Baptist Church, Scott City, with Rev. Kyle Evans presiding.

Interment was in the Scott County Cemetery.
