Walter E. Hundertmark

Walter E. Hundertmark, 80, died April 26, 2025, at the Scott County Hospital, Scott City.

He was born on June 24, 1944, in Goodland, the son of Walter Theodore and Margaret Catherine (Nolan) Hundertmark.

A resident of Scott City since 1970, moving from Goodland, he was a feed truck driver for HRC Feedyard for 47 years.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Scott City, and was a past National Guardsman.

On Dec. 22, 1973, he married Carolyn Wright in Scott City. She survives.

Other survivors include his daughter, Janelle Hundertmark, Scott City; a son, Jason Hundertmark and wife, Robbie, Scott City; three grandsons, Justin Hundertmark, Goodland, Bryce Hundertmark, Scott City, and Seth Hundertmark, Scott City; one great-grandson, Jared Hundertmark, Goodland; sister-in-law, Ruby Hundertmark, Garden City; and numerous sisters- and brothers-in-law, nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harry Hundertmark; and sisters, Alta Evans, Luella Black and Caroline Nowak.

Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Price and Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington Street, Scott City.

The funeral service will be Sat., May 3, 10:30 a.m., at the First Baptist Church, Scott City, with Don Williams presiding.

Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery.
