Terry Lynn Louk

Terry Lynn Louk, 64, died May 25, 2025, at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City.

Terry was born on June 25, 1960, to Melvin C. and P. Ione (Farr) Louk in Syracuse.

A 1978 graduate of Scott Community High School, he attended Liberal Vo-Tech College to obtain his automotive repair degree.

He spent many years repairing vehicles and fell in love with motorcycles. At that point in his life, he applied and was accepted into the Harley-Davidson School in Phoenix, Ariz.

He later opened up The Scooter Shop in Dodge City which he operated until a few years ago. His health started failing, so he moved to Friend where he spent most of his childhood.

Terry is survived by his parents, Lampe, Mo.; two sisters, Karen Louk, Garden City, and Vickie Meeks and husband, Brad, Dodge City; a niece, Janessa Bock and husband, Nathan; a nephew, Cody Meeks and wife, Bailea; four great-nieces and one great-nephew.

A graveside memorial service was held on June 6 at the Prairie View Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Friend with Pastor Jon Tuttle presiding.
