Chaseton Warren Cupp, 25, died July 18, 2025, in Scott City.

He was born on May 15, 2000, in Wichita, to Christian Edward and Christine Marie (Brokofsky) Cupp.

Chaseton worked for City of Scott City in the public works department.

Chase was a man of many passions, and as a child he was obsessed with trains, sprinklers, lights and legos, along with a time where he raised bees for honey.

His real passion was computers and gaming, and over the years he built several computers himself.

He attended Kansas State University for several years majoring in computer science, prior to returning to Scott City.

Survivors include his parents; brothers, Colton Cupp, Scott City, and Connor Cupp, Scott City; girlfriend, Rose Richardson, Scott City; grandparents, Ed and Deva Cupp, Scott City, and Ruben and Alice Brokofsky, Scott City; aunt, Catherine Brokofsky, Scott City; and uncle and aunt, Chandler and Meredith Cupp, Scott City.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Caleb E. Cupp.

The funeral service was held on July 23 at the First Baptist Church, Scott City, with Rev. Kyle Evans presiding.

Interment was in the Scott County Cemetery.
