Lana Cramer

Lana Rene Cramer, 71, died July 18, 2025, at Hays Medical Center.

She was born on April 7, 1954, in Ransom, to Eugene and Marilyn Jean (Petersilie) Switzer.

A lifetime resident of Scott City, she worked in retail most of her life.

On June 28, 1975, she married Richard D. Cramer in Scott City. He survives.

Other survivors include her sons, Corey Cramer and wife, Meagan, Manhattan, and Chad Cramer and wife, Danea, Wichita; a sister, Janet Wantland, Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; four grand-daughters, Madison Cramer, Manhattan, Mackenzie Cramer, Manhattan, Ainsley Cramer, Wichita, and Ellyson Cramer, Wichita.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Bonnie Wellen.

The funeral service was held July 22 at the First Baptist Church, Scott City, with Rev. Kyle Evans presiding.

Interment was in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City.
