Charles Leroy Miller

Charles Leroy Miller, 90, died Dec. 11, 2025, at his home in Scott City.

He was born on Dec. 4, 1935, in Ava, Mo., the son of Henry Thomas and Bina Madgelene (Miller) Plumb.

He had been a resident of Scott City for the last 40 years.

He worked in agriculture the majority of his life and enjoyed fishing in his free time.

Survivors include his significant other, Mary McNutt, Scott City, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Calvin Miller; brothers, Raymond Miller, Curtis Miller and Lloyd Miller; and sisters, Creeda Brown and Donna Gogue.

A memorial service and inurnment will be at a later date.
