Alfredo Castillo
Alfredo Ocha Castillo, 74, died Jan. 6, 2026, at the Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colo.
He was born on Jan. 12, 1951, in Huejuquilla El Alto, Mexico, the son of Jesus Cavral and Juana Ocho Rojo Castillo.
He had been a resident of Leoti since 1984, moving from Tribune.
He worked as a rendering production manager most of his life retiring from Monforts in Tribune.
Survivors include his sons, Alfredo Felix Castillo, Tallahassee, Fla., Omar Rafik Castillo, Little Rock, Ark., and Edgar Castillo, Dodge City; a daughter, Juanita Castillo, Leoti; brothers, Aurelio Ochoa Castillo, Wichita Falls, Tex., Isabel Jose Ochoa Castillo, Tijuana, Mexico, Jose Ochoa Castillo, Tijuana, Mexico, Raul Ochoa Castillo, Leoti, Jesus Ochoa Castillo, Jalisco, Mexico, and Cruz Ochoa Castillo, Tijuana, Mexico; sisters, Sofia Ochoa Castillo, Torren, Mexico, Arcelia Ochoa Castillo, Torren, Mexico, Teresa Ochoa Castillo, Portland, Ore., and Gracelia Ochoa Castillo, Doris, Calif.; and 20 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Abel Ochoa Castillo.
Public visitation will be Fri., Jan. 16, 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Price and Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington Street, Scott City.
The funeral service will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m at the First Baptist Church, in the original church santuary, in Scott City with Humberto Navarrete presiding.
Interment will be at the Wichita County Cemetery, Leoti, at 2:00 p.m.
