Myles Conard
Myles Alexander Conard, 23, died Feb. 24, 2026, at Ascension Via Christi Hospital, Manhattan.
He was born on Sept. 29, 2002, to his parents, Christopher and Julie (Waters) Conard, in Garden City.
Myles was a senior at Kansas State University studying construction science. While in Manhattan, he worked for Back Nine Development and BHS Construction.
Myles loved cooking and grilling, bragging he was a “culinary genius.” He loved his cat, Bingus, whom he proudly named when he got her his freshman year.
Myles was a loyal and faithful friend to all. His favorite person in the world was his nephew Carter. They had a special bond.
Myles loved spending time on the family farm with his Dad and Grandpa, taking care of cattle and the land.
He was an ornery brother, son, cousin, uncle, grandkid and friend, but you couldn’t have asked for a better one.
Survivors include his father, of Timken; his mother, of Manhattan; sister, Kelsie Tilton and husband, Eddie, Goodland; and nephew, Carter Tilton.
He was preceded in death by his grandma, Cheryl Conard, and grandfather, Robert Waters.
A rosary was held on March 3 at Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, Manhattan.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on March 4 at St. Isidore’s Catholic Student Center, Manhattan.
Interment took place at Sunrise Cemetery, Manhattan.
