Jerri Presta, 92, our beloved mother, peacefully passed away into the merciful arms of her Savior on February 17, 2026, in San Francisco, Calif.

She was bom in Thomas, Okla., on May 28, 1933, to Art and Winnie Caldwell and was the youngest of nine children.

She grew up in a closeknit family that shaped her lifelong sense of loyalty, responsibility and devotion to Christ.

Her parents and all 8 siblings preceded her in death.

On August 23, 1954, she married Pat Presta at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City where they began building their life together. He passed away suddenly on May 30, 1980.

With quiet resolve, she carried forward with raising her six children and living a life of faith and devotion.

A remarkable homemaker, she took pride in caring for her family and creating lasting memories that are always in our hearts.

In later years, she made her home in San Francisco but remained deeply connected to her Midwestern roots. She held an unwavering faith in God, sharing His love through tireless prayer, dedication and a life lived fully for family and faith.

She is survived by her children: Paula Murphy and husband, Gary, Manhattan, Terry Presta and wife, Kristen, Paola, Barbara Presta and husband, Guy Bristow, San Francisco, Calif., Kel-ly Presta, Los Angeles, Calif., Anita Presta, San Francisco, Calif., and David Presta and wife, Ericka, McKinney, Tex.; 11 grandchildren: Morgan Murphy, Wamego, Jennifer Murphy and husband, Alex Quinonez, Los Angeles, Calif., Brooklyn Presta and husband, Matt Yasgar, Woodbury, Minn., Kellen Presta and wife, Bethany, Shefford, England, Haleigh Presta, Clarksville, Tenn., Hannah Jung and husband, Henry, Kansas City, Mo., Nicholas Bristow, London, England, Courtney Bristow, San Francisco, Calif., and Alexia, Melissa and Chase Presta, McKinney, Tex.; and three great-grandchildren, Everest Maginley, Wamego, Zade Yasgar, Woodbury, Minn., and Ezra Presta, Shefford, England.

A funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Scott City, on Sat., March 28, 11:00 a.m.

A Celebration of Life and luncheon will be held in the church hall following the Mass. All are welcome to join the family.

She was the heart that held us all. Rest gently, Mom. You are loved beyond words, missed beyond measure.
