Paul Leon Binford
Paul Leon Binford, 90, died April 12, 2026, at the Hill Top House, Bucklin.
He was born on Oct. 12, 1935, in rural Haviland, the son of Earnest Charles and Myrtle Effie May (Ross) Binford.
He attended Friends Academy and Friends Bible College in Haviland.
Paul was a dairyman, farmer and a member of the Haviland Friends Church.
An avid sports fan, Paul was a high school basketball and football referee in central and southwest Kansas for 34 years.
Survivors include his son, Kent Binford and wife, Lori, Haviland; daughter, Karen Loesch and husband, Delmar, Booker, Tex.; twin sister, Pauline Busby, Wichita; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, David Loesch and a greatgrandson, Beckham Binford.
A memorial service and celebration of Paul’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 1:30 p.m., at the Haviland Friends Church with Pastor Todd Follette officiating.
