Janice Winters

Janice K. Winters, 76, died April 29, 2026, at the University of Kansas Hospice House, Olathe.

She was born on August 8, 1949, in Hays, the daughter of Delbert and Lillian (Stieben) Moore.

She had been a resident of Belton, Mo., since 2012, having moved from Scott City.

Survivors include her brother, Doug Moore and wife, Teresa; sister, Cathy Moore and partner, Dale Lyman; grandson Troy Hensley and wife, Megan; granddaughter Sierra Kennedy; great-grandchildren, Parker, Laura and Wyatt Hensley; and nieces and nephews, Michelle Woydziak, Stacy Grate, Willie Rolo, Bobbie Weigel and Randy Maes.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Bill Winters and Roland Winters; her parents; and a sister, Joni Rolo.

A private family inurnment will be held at a later date at the Scott County Cemetery, Scott City.

McGilley and George Funeral Home, Belton, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
