Leslie Pedersen

Leslie A. Pedersen, 57, Hutchinson, died April 22, 2026, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, Wichita.

She was born on April 17, 1969, in Kingman, to Richard and Claudia (Flourney) Greever.

Leslie graduated from Buhler High School and was a nurse before having children.

She worked as a nutrition assistant for the Hutchinson schools for 12 years. Leslie enjoyed building relationships with the students she encountered.

On August 1, 1989, she married Craig Pedersen in Scott City. They shared nearly 37 wonderful years of marriage. He survives.

Leslie prized spending time outside. She was an animal lover and especially enjoyed her chickens. Above all, Leslie loved spending time with her family. She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Other survivers include her children, Aria Pedersen, Hutchinson, Neil Pedersen, Raymore, Mo., Noah Pedersen, Buhler, and Nyle Pedersen, Hutchinson; father, of Hutchinson; step-siblings, William Graves, Jon David Graves and Kathy Speir, all of Hutchinson; granddaughter, Everly Pedersen, Raymore, Mo.; and aunts, Janelle Casper and husband, Leo, Scott City, and Brenda Tidkey, Hutchinson.

She was preceded in death by her, mother; brother, Steven Frank Greever; and step-mother, Betty Jean Greever.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sat., May 23, 10:00 a.m., at CrossPoint Hutchinson, 1410 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson.
