Judson Price, Sr.
Judson P. Price, Sr., 96, died May 26, 2026, at the Sunrise of Sandy Senior Living Center in Sandy, Utah.
He was born on April 21, 1930, in Sabetha, the son of Lyle Phillips and Ruth Mildred (Hall) Price.
He was the past owner and operator of Price and Sons Funeral Homes.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Jud moved to Scott City in 1961 from Coffeyville and began working for Carl Weinmann at Weinmann Funeral Home. He purchased WeinmannPrice Funeral Home in 1983, when it became Price and Sons Funeral Homes.
Jud and Jody retired in 1995, moving to Green Valley, Ariz., and then moved to the Salt Lake City, Utah area in 2010.
Jud was a past member of the United Methodist Church in Scott City, Masonic Lodge No. 284, Scott City Shrine Club, Scott City Lions Club, and was a past board member of several local boards.
On June 6, 1954, he married Joanne T. Beaver in Melrose, Mass. She survives.
Other survivors include his sons, Stephen Price and wife, Jeanette, Ottawa, Scott Price and wife, Nancy, Sandy, Utah, Jud Price and wife, Ann, Washington, Mo., and Chris Price and wife, Suzette, Scott City; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Dorothy Nelms and Helen Price; and brothers, Alfred Price, Donald Price, Max Price and Robert Price.
Visitation will be Friday, June 5, from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Price and Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Scott City.
The funeral service will be held on Sat., June 6, 2:00 p.m., at Price and Sons Funeral Home with Steve Payne presiding.
Internment will be in the Scott County Cemetery.
