Alberta Kay Lucas

Alberta Kay Lucas, 80, died Jan. 7, 2025, at Parkview Heights Care Center, Garnett.

She was born onAugust 20, 1944, to Floyd and Eileen (Schmitt) Strickert in Scott City.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Alberta is survived by her son, Troy Lucas and wife, Lisa, Ottawa; sister, Kate, Hays; brother, Dick Strickert and wife, Debbie, Wichita; three grandchildren, Kaylee Silvers and husband, Jake, Paola, Alisyn Lucas, Paola, and Cody Lucas and partner, Chandler, Olathe.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sat., January 18, 2:00 p.m., at the United Methodist Church in Scott City.

There will be no calling times.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Scott County VIP Center in care of Price and Sons Funeral Homes, Box 552, Scott City, Ks. 67871.

Inurnment will be in the Scott County Cemetery.
