Antonio Raul Rojas

Antonio Raul Rojas, 16, died on Jan. 12, 2022, at his home in Scott City.

H e was born on Sept. 21, 2005, in Garden City, the son of Sirena Lynn Olivas and Raul Rojas, Jr.

A lifetime resident of Scott City, he was a student at Scott Community High School.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Scott City.

Survivors include his mother, Sirena Olivas, Scott City; step-father, Felix Oronia, Jr.; father, Joe Olguin, Rocky Ford, Colo.; paternal father, Raul Rojas, Jr., San Angelo, Tex.; two sisters, Anastasia Rojas and Natalia Rojas, both of Scott City; an uncle, Samson Gonzalez, Garden City; grandmother, Momma Olivas, Scott City; grandfather, Henry Gonzalez, Garden City; grandparents, Raul Sr. and Olga, San Angelo, Tex.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by Johnny and Laurie Leal.

A memorial service was held on Jan. 20 at the First Baptist Church, Scott City, with Rev. Kyle Evans presiding.
