Blas Rodriguez, Sr.

Blas Rodriguez, Sr., 67, died, Sept. 30, 2022, at the Sky Ridge Medical Center, Lone Tree, Colo.

H e was born on Feb. 3, 1955, in Satevo, Chihuahua, Mexico, the son of Nicolas and Petra Alvidrez Rodriguez.

A resident of Scott City since 1991, he was a retired mill operator and feed truck driver for Poky Feeders in Scott City.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City.

On Oct. 13, 1984, he married Graciela Armendariz in Satevo, Chihuahua, Mexico. She survives.

Other survivors include three sons, Blas Rodriguez, Jr., and wife, Claudia, Noe Rodriguez and wife, Yuri, and Carlos Rodriguez and wife, Berenice, all Scott City; two daughters, Reyna Rodriguez and Diana Aguilera and husband, Luis, all Scott City; one brother, Jesus Rodriguez, Scott City; four sisters, Trinidad Rodriguez, of Mexico, Hilda Prieto, Canyon City, Colo., Luz M. Rodriguez, Clovis, N.M., and Edelmira Rodriguez, of Mexico; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A vigil service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Fri., Oct. 7, at 7:00 p.m.

The funeral Mass will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
