Brett C Kendrick

Brett C. Kendrick, 62, died Nov. 13, 2021, at the Hays Medical Center.

H e was born on Oct. 15, 1959, in Scott City, the son of Emerson Earl and Marilyn Mae (Spellman) Kendrick.

A lifetime resident of Scott City, he was a farmer and Advanced EMT for the Scott County Emergency Medical Services.

He was a member of the Immanuel Southern Baptist Church, Scott City.

On Sept. 6, 1980, he married Kendra Wren in Scott City. She survives.

Other survivors include his two sons, Todd Kendrick and wife, Lauren, Topeka, and Trace Kendrick and wife, Stephanie, Wichita; mother, of

Scott City; one sister, Annette Shultz and husband, Chris, Paola; and three grandchildren, Kash Kendrick and Briar Kendrick, Topeka, and Shepherd Kendrick, Wichita.

He was preceded in death by his father and one nephew, Ryan Shultz.

The funeral service will be held Fri., Nov. 19, 2:00 p.m., at the First Baptist Church, Scott City, with Pastor Don Williams presiding.

Burial will be in the Scott County Cemetery.
